Are you or somebody you know,

suffering because of an addiction?

A family member, maybe a friend, relative or work colleague?

The most important and difficult step is admitting you are in trouble and need help. If we cannot admit to this fact, there is little anyone can do to help. We have to be willing and ready to make the first step towards recovery. This site has been created with this in mind. Everyone involved in this site's creation, are recovering from addiction of one form or another. We recovering addicts hit rock bottom long before we were able to realize the damage we were doing and had done, physically and mentally, to ourselves, family and friends. We will endeavour to keep this site and all information as up to date as possible.

The future could be bright for everyone! We hope we can reach out and show others that being clean/sober/substance free, is possible if we want it badly enough. It takes hard work. We will not try and fool anyone into thinking it is easy, it is not. Many of us have broken free from the grip of addiction, aware that it could take control over us at anytime. Addiction, of any form can be a life long struggle. However, it does get easier over time. Never be fooled into thinking it will never happen again, it takes hard work, determination and support. Information and an insight to life in addiction treatment centres, before, during and after we leave will be available here. Impartial, helpful information, gathered from many associated organizations. We are all striving towards making this possible.

just remember...

THERE IS HOPE FOR EVERYONE!

There is one more thing I'd like to point out...

and that is that this site was designed for and best viewed using the Firefox web browser. I realise that the majority of surfers do use internet explorer. Call me opinionated or whatever you like, but I happen to think that Firefox is the best browser out there and its popularity is growing all the time. Sounds like a plug for Firefox huh??.. well it is a good browser, you can get it here:
